Important! Mandatory Password Reset to Enhance Account Security

In response to recent reports of unauthorized access affecting multiple equity brokers in Malaysia, we are proactively enhancing our security measures to protect your account.

To safeguard your account, we have implemented a mandatory password reset for all clients. Your current password will be marked as expired. You will then need to manually initiate a 'Forgot Password' action directly within our app or through our website to create a new one.

Action Required:
Please follow the steps below to regain access:

1. Login Attempt
When you try to log in to Member Web or iSPEED, you will see a message indicating your password has expired. You will not be able to log in using your old password.

2. Initiate Password Reset
On the login page, click on the "Forgot Password" option (located at the bottom right corner of login button).

3. Submit Your Details
Enter the required information (such as your name, date of birth, ID type and contact number) to request a password reset.

Common challenges faced for reset:
“Username doesn’t exist” appears when the info below does not tally with the registered info.
- Name: Please state your name as per IC. *This is not username.
- Date of birth, IC number: please make sure the info is as per your NRIC/Passport
- ⁠Phone number: Registered number may have additional “0” at the beginning. Please try “+6001*”

4. Receive a Temporary Password
A new temporary password will be sent to your registered email address (in PDF). Please check your inbox (and spam/junk folder if needed).

5. Login with the Temporary Password
Use the temporary password from the email to log in.

6. Change Your Password
Once logged in with the temporary password, you will be immediately prompted to set a new password of your choice.

7. Confirmation
After successfully changing your password, you will see a confirmation message.

8. Access Member Web / iSPEED
You can now access Member Web and iSPEED as usual with your new password.

Rakuten Trade will never send you a link requesting your login ID, password, or Trading PIN (T-PIN). Many account compromises occur through phishing attempts.
