Job Purpose

Be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate management reporting and comply with applicable accounting standards and procedures. The job role also required participation in projects and ad-hoc assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. To handle full set of monthly management account and support in annual financial statements.
  2. To assist and support monthly management reports and analysis.
  3. To co-ordinate with internal and external auditors, tax agents, etc to ensure compliance of statutory requirements.
  4. To assist in the preparation of tax computation, deferred tax, and tax regulatory submission.
  5. To support in preparation yearly budget & monitoring budget spending.
  6. To support in preparation of internal control documents.
  7. To support all accounting functions and controls are in place and performed efficiently in meeting deadlines and minimizing risks.
  8. To assist in preparing an accurate reporting of financial, management and regulatory reporting that complies with accounting standards, Companies Act, relevant laws and regulations on time.
  9. To assist in managing petty cash accounts.
  10. To assist SST and submission
  11. To support in fixed assets register and maintenance of the fixed assets records and reports.
  12. To prepare, verify and maintain the accounting records and other accounting related duties with the knowledge of accounting software.
  13. To support in daily accounting and financial operations related work. Includes processing of purchase order, payment voucher, petty cash vouchers, journals, account receivables and payables, bank reconciliation, intercompany billing, and others.
  14. To assist in operation team for daily operation trade related matters.
  15. To assist in Executive’s role and responsibilities in the event absent from Executive (include daily operation role/AP role/report role/others)
  16. Handling ad-hoc matters/ projects assigned, office administration and any other operational matters.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in stockbroking is preferred.
  • Good communication and teamwork is a must.
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Accounting software.
  • Knowledge is MYOB system will be an added advantage.
  • Candidate must be resourceful and able to problem solve.
  • Able to work independently with strong initiative, committed and strong sense of ownership.
