Job Purpose

The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible to ensure quick reach out to customers via digital channels such as social media, online media, digital advertising and EDMs. An executive is responsible for creating social content to support marketing campaigns, and actioning insight.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain relationship with social media educators to ensure positive coverage of the company's products, services, and around digital trading.
  2. Deploy educational content based on trending topics and relate back to the business.
  3. Act as community manager for the brand
  4. Propose social videos to boost engagement and overall social reach
  5. Analyze social media trends and competitors to identify threats and opportunities. This involves digital listening.
  6. Support events that educate and boost trading.
  7. Support marketing campaigns through development of a social media communications plan
  8. Maximize positive exposure in social media and the online community.
  9. Work closely with the immediate supervisor on a day-to-day basis.
  10. Support daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly
  11. Conduct market research to identify new social media opportunities
  12. Gathering and analyzing consumer behaviour data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
  13. Coordinate, implement and assist in other related marketing campaigns.
  14. Responsible to develop and managing and implementing integrated internal and external communications which include advertising and publicity for print and other media platforms.
  15. Improve Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  16. Liaise and communicate with internal and external parties.
  17. Upload new content to our communication platforms and update content as needed.
  18. Coordinate with creative to illustrate campaign ideas.
  19. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  20. Promote content on social media
  21. Support various marketing initiatives including web/app testing
Requirements
  1. Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Major in Marketing) or Mass Communication (Major: PR / Advertising) or equivalent
  2. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint/Presentation Tool
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  4. Good English Language Proficiency (Written and spoken)

    • Malay and Chinese (optional)
  5. Energy, enthusiasm and passion for all things digital
  6. Strong understanding of online consumer behaviour, key social media platforms and how they are used by individuals and brands
  7. Good reporting and analytical skills, and ability to use insight to develop future campaigns
Special Requirements (if any)
  1. Minimum 1 year working experience in Social Media or Digital Media (internships are included)
  2. Experience in on and off-page SEO, FB Analytics, Google Analytics
  3. Experience in creating and managing content for social media
  4. Previous financial / investment / agency experience
